Josh has been helping me understand what my horse needs to feel safe so he can begin to understand what I'm asking. Josh has taught me how to use good communication. For example, when to apply and when to release pressure. He has helped me feel calmer and I have learned to take the time my horse needs to get over old ingrained fears. Josh is patient and understanding. HIs sense of humor makes me feel at ease with our training sessions. Lastly, he explains steps in a clear and concise manner. He wants to make sure I understand them before moving on. Barb & Sunny Washoe Valley, Nv |

I met Josh Foster this last February or March. I had a 10-month-old stud colt who was getting the upper hand. Josh started working with him twice a month. Josh as a real calming manner and a good sense of humor about him, which at the end of each lesson, my colt was also calm and listening to his instructions. He makes the lessons easy for the horse and owner to understand. My colt is now trailer loading, baths, clips and, most importantly, is respectful on the ground. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found Josh. I would highly recommend him.. MaryAnn, Nevada |

Josh has been helping me with my yearling molly mule. Having never owned a mule before, I did not realize how different they were from horses. She was very spoiled. Josh has helped me through many issues; including leading and learning respect of my space. He has helped me understand how she has perceived my body language and been allowed to take advantage of certain situations. Josh has shown me that through simple changes in my interaction with her, without force or fear, that I am the leader in her "herd" She has become my partner, not my pet. It's been a great experience to worth with Josh. We learn something new every session. Thanks Josh!!! Mindy Stillwell |
